The Writers In Focus Poetry Series
at the Los Angeles Contemporary Museum of Art (LACMA)

The Writers In Focus poetry series, sponsored by the education department at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art presents between 6 and 10 readings a year, usually on a Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free to museum members and included in the price of admission to the museum for all others ($7/adult, $5/seniors and students). Among the poets who have read in the series are Billy Collins, Ron Koertge, Wanda Coleman, Sharon Olds, Holly Prado, David St. John, Yusef Komunyakaa, Philip Levine, Charles Harper Webb, Majid Naficy, Dorothy Barresi, Diane Wakoski and Richard Garcia.
